BornHere App _ Birthday & Moments

Privacy Policy

Created October 24, 2026

This policy covers this website — the BornHere guide at born-here.online. It explains what happens to information when you visit, in plain words. It does not cover the BornHere service itself; anything you do at bornhere.app, including paying for a birth story, is governed by that site's own privacy policy.

What this site collects

Very little, by design. This is a read-only guide with community discussions. We don't sell anything, we don't run accounts for readers, and we never ask for payment details. Like most websites, the server keeps standard logs of visits — pages viewed, the browser and device type, and the time of the visit — which we use to see which guides people actually read and to keep the site running.

If you leave a comment or file a report through the site's discussion features, the text you write and the name you give are stored so the comment can be shown and moderated. Don't put private information in a comment — in particular, don't post anyone's full date of birth or other personal details.

Cookies

The site may use basic cookies needed for it to work properly, and anonymous measurement cookies that tell us which pages get read. We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell visit data to anyone.

Links to the official service

Our pages link to bornhere.app, where the actual gift is made. The moment you follow one of those links, you've left this site. Any details you enter there — a name, a birth date, a birth city, payment information handled through Stripe — go to BornHere and its payment provider, not to us. We never see the birth stories you create, the details you type in, or your card information.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or trade reader information. Visit data stays with the tools that keep this site running and measure its readership. If the law ever required disclosure, we'd have to comply — that's true of every website.

Your choices

You can read everything here without giving us anything. If you've left a comment you'd like removed, tell us through the contact route and point us to the page it's on; we'll take it down. You can also block cookies in your browser — the guides will still work.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page. The policy describes a guide site that collects as little as it can get away with, and we intend to keep it that way.
